The former Mount Pleasant Water Company at Bridgeport Dam. At one time, it was owned by the H.C. Frick Coal & Coke Co. as the facility supplied water necessary ...for the coke-making process. The pump house no longer stands; the filtration plant across the street has been abandoned for many years after it ceased operations in the 1960s. See more

State wide opener Saturday April 18th! Are you ready to get your fish on ?

Remember tomorrow / and or today April 7th is opening day for Pennsylvania mentored youth fishing program. Take a kid fishing tomorrow at one of many local streams, cricks ,or lakes and make a fun memory . Jacobs Creek Watershed Association will be on hand at white bridge road giving out free cookies hot chocolate and coffee tomorrow morning. Stop on by and talk fish with em! Remember pa fishing rules and regulations still apply! Good luck and happy fishing !

OH MY GOODNESS! We have big news! We just received a donation of 100 GOLDEN TROUT to be stocked for the Mentored Youth Trout Opening Day: Free Milk and Cookies!... event! That means we are getting a load of Golden Trout AND the standard fish and boat commission stocking for the event. THIS STREAM IS GOING TO BE LOADED with trout! Bubbling with trout!
