It is with extreme sadness that we as the Board of Directors of Challenger Sports had to make a very difficult decision. We will be discontinuing our sports programs for athletes with special needs. Because of the inability to recruit new blood onto our board or our coaching staff we will be closing down our organization.... We have made a great many friends over our 8 years and we feel the we have been able to make a difference in our players lives. We thank all of the coaches and the rest of the team that made it all happen. Our extreme thanks go out to the Pocono Mountain School District, Jackson Township and Pocono Mountain East Little League for their great support in supplying time and resources to us. We also wish to thank our dedicated sponsors for their support that allowed us to provide our programs without any cost to our players.

Unfortunately we will not be able to provide our basketball program for 2020. We had few registrations for players and volunteers. We have also had challenges obtaining sponsorships to cover our costs this year.
