Circumstances beyond our control have prevented us from continuing these fundraisers. IT’S FINALLY OFFICIAL!!! By now, we’re sure you’ve heard that Greenock Vol. Fire Company and Elizabeth Township Fire Department #1 have been in the process of m...erging for a few years. This morning around 09:45am, the Honorable Judge Williams signed the order officially merging the two organizations into the Elizabeth Township Fire Department. The officers and members of each organization would like to thank everyone involved for putting in the countless hours to get this completed. We still have a lot of work ahead of us but with the groups of members coming into this organization, we can and will accomplish anything. We will hold elections in October and will be proud to publish our new leadership once completed. Our new station number will be Allegheny County Station 140. We will be keeping both fire stations open, Greenock Station 1 and Blythedale Station 2. Congratulations to the ETFD and the leadership to come. We know you’ll do Elizabeth Township proud. For anyone wanting to become a part of our new organizination, please feel free to contact us for an application.

Notice from West Penn Power: On Wednesday, July 17, 2019, there will be a planned power outage to upgrade facilities. The outage will affect 2,422 customers in... the vicinity of Elizabeth and Mckeesport, PA. The service interruption is scheduled from approximately 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. In the event of inclement weather, the planned outage will be rescheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2019. Customers will be notified of the outage via an automated phone message.
