Biblical Israel Ministries & Tours 27.10.2021

I’m sorry to say that my November Israel tour will not happen. Israel’s Ministry of Tourism just decided yesterday to move back the new group pilot program o...pening date from Nov 1 to Nov 15. This means my Nov 7th departure won’t take place. So bummed, but I am looking forward to leading multiple tours/groups in 2022: Jan, Feb, March, May, June, Aug, Sept, Oct, and Nov. All of my trips are open still, and I invite you with us. In the meantime, enjoy this 360 pic standing at the southern end of the Temple Mount, with the Mt. of Olives, Silwan, and the Kidron Valley to the east, and the City of David to the south. #israeltours #BIMT360 #israel360 Go to www.biblicalisraeltours.com to learn more about our trips to Israel!

What else was found from the time of King Josiah? The burial cave at Ketef Hinnom takes us back to the days of King Josiah - since it is where the silver scrol...ls of the Priestly Benediction were found - in these burial caves! (Be sure to check out previous posts to learn about that!) A sign of the importance of religious life in that time period. How were people traditionally buried in the First Temple Period? Have you ever wondered what the phrase in 2 Kings 22:20 came from? Therefore I will gather you to your ancestors, and you will be buried in peace. What does gather you to your ancestors mean? Actually, it was an ancient burial practice of the Jewish people. The bones were quite literally gathered together to rest in peace with their ancestors, in family tombs and complexes. And because this tomb was preserved - we could catch a glimpse back into the days of King Josiah! #WhatDoYouThink? Are these posts informative? Let us know! Megalim Institute, COD Archive
