Congratulations and best wishes to Dr. David Shellenbarger, a Reynolds alum who has been named chief medical officer of Sharon Regional Medical Center! Dr. She...llenbarger has been serving as Sharon Regional’s medical director of emergency medical services. He credits his experience and his faith for driving his professional rise to this post and his personal devotion to serving others. After graduating from Reynolds High School in 1996, Dr. Shellenbarger attended Allegheny College. His medical studies took him to Temple University in Philadelphia, then West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh for clinical work, then the ER at UPMC Pittsburgh for his residency. It is wonderful to have someone with deep roots in our community leading local health and wellness efforts, especially at this critical time.
