Join us Sunday, September 13 @ 9:30 AM as we begin a new series Journey of Joy with Jesus Philippians 1:1-11 Journey with Thanksgiving and Prayer led by Pastor John F. Reilly Will we meet in-person and on Facebook Live.
Guidelines for in-person meeting at Avon Grove Nazarene: Beginning Sunday, Sept. 13th. 1. If you are not feeling well (fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle aches, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell), please do not worship in-person. If you have been exposed to Covid-19, please do not attend church in-person. Everyone is welcome to continue watching our worship service online, www.facebook.com/Avongrovechurch. 2. Masks are mandatory for ages 2 a...nd up. 3. Please sanitize your hands as you enter church. Automatic sanitizers will be outside and in the foyer. 4. We will be practicing social distancing. Please maintain 6 feet of space between yourself and a non-family members. 5. Family units can sit together in a pew. We will be alternating pews and alternating seat patterns to encourage social distancing. It is okay to talk and fellowship in the sanctuary at a distance. 6. Please do not linger in the foyer as it is too small to practice social distancing. 7. Bathrooms are available in the foyer and downstairs. Please wash your hands with soap and water after each use. 8. Hymnals and Bibles have been removed from the pews. Power point will be used. You are welcome to bring your own Bible from home. We will not be handing out bulletins. 9. Offering plates will be in the back and front of the church for giving. You may also continue to give on the church’s website, www.avongrove.church. 10. The congregation may not sing. Pastor Joanie will lead us in a meditative worship time. 11. When communion is served, we will use pre-packaged cups. 12. We will enter through the front and side doors of the church and exit out the exterior of the church (doors to the right of the platform towards the playground). 13. The playground is closed. 14. There will not be nursery or children’s church. White boards, markers, and color sheets will be provided for the children. They have been cleaned and sanitized and will be cleaned after each use. The nursery is available for parents to use with children under 3 years old. The nursery has been deep cleaned and sanitized but is not staffed at this time. 15. We cannot serve snack until further notice. 16. We will not have Sunday school classes until further notice. The Bridge is using rooms #1 & #2 for food storage and distribution. This list may feel restrictive when it comes to worshipping together after so much time being apart. We must remember that we are still living during a pandemic and we must practice safe worship practices to keep everyone healthy. This is a slow and gradual re-opening of in-person worship. It will be a breath of fresh air to be together even if the experience is different. Let me know if you have any questions. Pastor Heather
Thanks for worshiping with us this morning!
