Pittsburgh--October 24, 2020 With the final of three "RSD Drops" quickly approaching, let's reiterate some rules and expectations. As with all other Record Store Day events, there cannot be ANY pre-orders or holds for anyone. Customers are to be served in the order they enter the store and there is a strict limit of ONE copy of each exclusive title PER CUSTOMER.... To add to this, there are now several best practices for keeping healthy that have changed our daily lives; avoiding large groups and keeping sanitized being the most important. WE ALL MUST WEAR A MASK COVERING THE MOUTH AND NOSE FULLY and there will always be hand sanitizer up front on the counter. On October 24th, we will be participating in RSD Drops by stocking and selling many exclusive, limited vinyl releases. We will be open at 8 a.m. that morning and urge anyone who plans on visiting us bright and early to please bring a list (of the titles that you're after) with you so that we can collect your list while you are outside the store in line and fill your list while you wait. There will only be FIVE customers allowed in the main store front at a time. If you have brought us a list to fill, the line will run quickly and smoothly. ***LAST MONTH THE LINE WAS FINISHED BY 9:05 A.M. AND EVERYONE IN LINE GOT THE BULK OF THEIR LIST. THIS REALLY WORKED OUT IN EVERYONE'S FAVOR*** Your list will be filled as fully as possible, pre-bagged and pre-totalled and when it is your turn to enter the store, you may walk directly to counter and pay for your records. IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE CROWD/WAITING, PLEASE CONSIDER VISITING US LATE IN THE DAY OR ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25TH FROM 11 A.M. TO 3 P.M. Because of the demand for exclusive records, we must limit browsing (i.e. the normal store stock will be OFF-LIMITS) from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. or so. IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN RSD TITLES, please plan to visit us in the early afternoon on October 24th or on Sunday, October 25th when we will be OPEN 11 A.M. UNTIL 3 P.M.
