Hello everyone, There have been many questions regarding the status of ASPIRA schools being eligible for P-EBT benefits and we hope this information will help answer most of those questions. All of our students enrolled in Antonia Pantoja Charter School, Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School, John B. Stetson Charter School, and Olney Charter High School who qualify are eligible for the P-EBT benefit as these schools are CEP (Community Eligibility Provision) participants unde...r National School Lunch Program. If any family wishes to apply for SNAP, TANF or Medicaid (if they qualify based on household size or income) they may do so via the following link: https://www.compass.pa.state.us In addition, contact information should be up to date for school records. If anyone has recently moved and has not provided the school with the correct address you may have issues receiving the benefits (if you do not have the EBT card). For more information regarding this benefit, you can access information from the following link: https://www.dhs.pa.gov//Pages/Coronavirus-Pandemic-EBT.aspx
In addition to staying at home, practicing social distancing, and washing your hands thoroughly, wearing a mask in public is one of the best ways to protect yourself and others around you from COVID-19. Many people are making their own masks for themselves and others with what they have available at home. Here are some tips to make sure you know why, when, and how to properly use a mask. https://www.phila.gov/2020-05-12-maskupphl-why-when-and-ho/
