Tentative reopening Announcement: The Governor's orders as of right now state that daycare centers in Philadelphia could turn into "yellow" on June 3rd. If this happens, Appletree will Open FOR STAFF TRAINING on June 3rd so that we can train staff on our new safety and health practices and policys and we will reopen to our families in full on Monday June 8th. THIS IS 100% TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE. We will follow all state regulations and Governer orders. This message i...s solely to update families as best I can during this fluid and ever changing situation. We have done major renovations to A.t during our time off and put many new safety protocols in place and we are ready to welcome our children, families and staff back as soon as daycares in Philadelphia are placed into the yellow! Appletree Childcare & Learning Center and all daycares in Philadelphia have been ordered by the governor to remain closed beyond our hopeful reopening date of March 30th 2020. No new information has been made available to us at this time but we wanted to keep parents and staff and all of our Appletree family informed during these difficult and uncertain times. Appletree Childcare and Learning Center is now closed due to the covid-19 Coronavirus situation in Philadelphia. Check this page for more updates in the future. Appletree childcare is now looking for a lifeguard for our summer camp program, our school age kids need to use the pool it's so important, and for 14 years we've never missed a summer and we recently had two candidates back out on our program and we are desperate! Appletree pays for the course it only takes one Saturday and the pay is now 30/hr for 2 hrs a day. Send all inquires to Josh and Amy 2152819223 [email protected] [email protected]

Reminder to our Appletree family: we follow the Philadelphia school district in regards to weather related closures and delays!! If Philadelphia schools are delayed or closed, so is Appletree. Please check back with Facebook or with your local weather and news station for info.

As a big storm approaches this weekend, please watch our Facebook page for information regarding a weather-related closure Monday, January 21st. Right now we are scheduled to operate at our normal hours (6:30 AM-6 PM) on Monday, but the safety of our students and our staff is our top priority, so we be watching this storm very closely. Hello all, I hope everyone is staying warm, having fun and being safe during the snow storm! Appletree will have a 2 hour delay Thursday, March 22nd. Dear families, Appletree will be closed Wednesday, March 21st due to the weather. We don’t know about Thursday yet but whatever Public schools do we follow. Everyone have fun and stay safe! Jenna

I am terribly sorry about the inconvenience on this Monday morning. We have to close Appletree because we are not getting any heat throughout the building. For the safety of the children we had no choice but to close for the day. We hope to get this resolved so that we are up and running by tomorrow. If for any reason we are still not getting heat by tomorrow, I will post on here and we will call everyone as soon as we know what needs to be done.
