Linda, with heavy hearts, family, friends, and neighbors gathered this morning to worship our Lord; raising their voices in unison and singing in the German language: (Some of the song omitted) 1. O Lord Father, we bless thy name, 3. Put wisdom in our hearts while here On earth, thy will be known,... The word through grace to understand What thou would have us to do. To live in righteousness, O Lord, 4. Thine only be the glory, O Lord, Likeness all might and power. That we praise thee in our assembly And feel grateful every hour. With all our hearts we pray, Wilt thou be with us every day Through Christ our Lord. Amen As the days pass without your presence, not hearing your voice or seeing your smile, the pain feels unbearable. In all the pain of missing you; we're encouraged how you have, by example, lived and presented to your siblings what it means to walk by faith, accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, trusting the Lord God Almighty to be your peace, joy and provider. Your sister is following the same path of living for Jesus Christ, following the footsteps of being baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Linda, we pray that the Lord be with you every day, So as your sister has been baptized, so we also ask that the Lord baptize you in His presence, wherever you are.
