Thank you for a successful first day! It was a new experience for everyone involved, and there is definitely a huge learning curve. Thank you for your patience and commitment. A few quick reminders to help our students be successful during this time: - Students should bring their fully charged laptops each day they are in the school! - Any student who did not receive a device yet should ask for the 2 forms during their lunch period. The forms will be in ...the cafeteria. - Once a student brings in the completed forms (signed by the parent/guardian), students can drop it off in the main office to receive a laptop (students will go to class and will have a laptop delivered to them). - Student schedules are available in Tyler, please remember to have your student(s) check their schedule before coming to school. - Parent drop offs (AM)- thank you for all of the parents who are dropping their student(s) off in the morning. Once your student(s) exits the vehicle, please be sure to pull down in front of the school as far as possible so that we are not blocking traffic. This will also allow time for their temperature to be checked before you leave. Great job today!!

A message from AMBRIDGE AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of Ambridge Area Middle School, We first wanted to follow-up on the email that you received from Dr. Pasquerilla on June 18 that informed the Ambridge community of a possible COVID-19 exposure in the district. In an abundance of caution, the district is having a third-party professional cleaning company disinfect the exposed areas following all cleaning protocols to ensure the safety of the school commu...nity. I would like to thank you for your patience and continued support during our school closure this year. I am happy to report that you will be able to pick up personal belongings (including band instruments) and drop off school-issued textbooks and other materials beginning on Monday, July 13, 2020. In doing so, please adhere to the following schedule: July 13 8th grade July 14 7th grade July 15 6th grade In addition, please adhere to the following times each day for your grade level: 9:00-10:00 A.M. Students with last names beginning A-D 10:00-11:00 A.M. Students with last names beginning E-H 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. Students with last names beginning I-N 1:00-2:00 P.M. Students with last names beginning O-R 2:00-3:00 P.M. Students with last names beginning S-Z Families with children in multiple grade levels, please follow the schedule for oldest child. Upon arrival to the Middle School, please pull to the back of the building near the awnings and remain in your vehicle. A staff member will be present and to assist you and ask you for your child’s homeroom and last name. They will then bring a bag of items from your child’s locker to your vehicle and collect any textbooks or other school-issued materials that you may have. If possible, please be prepared to open the trunk of your vehicle for contactless pickup, and wear a mask. We also ask that if you or any immediate members of your family have a fever or any other symptoms of COVID-19 that you contact us to setup another time or method for retrieval of items.
