The Y's Allentown Warming Station continues to serve as a critical resource for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. So many support our efforts by purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List. These orders get shipped directly to the Warming Station and allow our team to fulfill needs. Our Y Team recently updated the list with some new items. Due to potential ice accumulation overnight, we will be delaying opening on Friday, February 5. The facility and child care will open at 8AM.

The YMCA and all programs will open at 10:00AM on Wednesday, February 3.

Due to the winter storm, all Greater Valley YMCA branches and childcare will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2, 2021. Further updates can be found here and through WFMZ.

Important Update: Tonight, February 1, 2021, our Warming Station operations will be temporarily relocated to the Allentown Rescue Mission as they are open 24/7. Our Y staff will support their team this evening. The Rescue Mission will provide shelter and a meal for both men and women experiencing homelessness. Our Warming Station will move back to our normal location at our Allentown Y Branch Tuesday at 6pm. We are grateful for collaboration with partners allowing us to provide the best service for our neighbors.

We're proud to announce our Allentown Warming Station will be opening for our third season this Sunday, November 1st. The Station will be open from 7pm to 7am daily for single men and women.
