"While you're talking to your kids about elections, don't forget to let them know the story of women in American politics! Our blog post Remember the Ladies: 25 Children's Books on Women in Politics features books that introduce kids and teens to the pioneering women in politics who have already left their mark on their nation. And, you can teach them about the determined women we can thank for winning women's right to vote with the books in our blog post How Women Won The Vote: Books for Kids & Adults About the U.S. Suffrage Movement."

Did you know you can cast your ballot before Election Day? Philadelphia residents will have access to 17 satellite election office locations throughout the city where they can go to register to vote, request a mail-in ballot, receive their ballot, vote, and return it, all in one visit. In addition, voters can also visit one of these locations to return their already voted ballot. All satellite election offices will be open seven days a week and will remain open through Electi...on Day, November 3. The hours of operation are: Monday-Thursday: 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday-Sunday: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you have already received a mail-in ballot this year, you should mail your ballot as promptly as possible by Election Day or personally deliver it to the County Board of Elections office, at a ballot drop box, or at a satellite election office no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day. You cannot deliver your voted mail-in ballot to your polling place. If you requested a mail-in ballot but decide to vote in-person at your polling place on November 3, then you must bring your mail-in ballot with you. You will need to surrender your mail-in ballot by giving it to one of the poll workers. You will need to bring the ballot and the declaration envelope. If you do not have your mail-in ballot, you will be able to vote by provisional ballot. Learn more about the City's 17 satellite election offices and view a full map below. https://www.phila.gov/2020-09-29-visit-a-satellite-electi/
