As the protest rage on, all we can hope for is real systematic change to happen across the county. The first step towards that goal is to come together, listen to one another, and look out for our neighbors in our community. 1225Raw today handed out bento boxes to protestors, homeless, and city officials around City Hall. It's a small gesture in the wide scope of things, but we hope this sends the message of togetherness and hope for a better tomorrow. The people of America ...have spoken as loud as possible, now its time for the higher-ups to *really* listen and enact change to protect POC from wide-spread injustices that happen everyday. 1225Raw Sushi and Sake Lounge 100% support the BLM Movement and everything it stands for. We support coming together with our community to fight injustices and make changes that help POC finally be treated truly equal. We hope for peace, love, and compassion to be the great unifier towards making real change in this country. Yesterday, we handed out bento boxes to peaceful protestors on the street (including the homeless). Even with the Covid-19 Pandemic ravaging small busine...sses across the city, we are going to continue to do what we can to help our community - whether it be feeding and hydrating peaceful protestors fighting for equal rights or feeding our local healthcare heroes working on the front lines of the pandemic. Hopefully these protests will get the right people listening and start to finally understand the pain coming from our communities of POC to make everlasting change.
